TEEN DRIVER EDUCATION

A Teen driver who is up to the age of seventeen years may enroll in driver education and training to be eligible for a license at the age of eighteen. Driver education and training should be provided by accredited driving school only using an approved driving curriculum.


It is very important that teen drivers must obtain the best of driver education and training, considering the risk they cause or face. Good communication between the trainee, the driver education and training instructors is therefore very necessary. Approved standards for Teen Driver Education and Training programme for accredited driving school in Nigeria are as follows 


Enrolled Trainee is considered enrolled when he / she attend the first day of a scheduled class and continues until course completion 

No Trainee shall be admitted to class unless there is proof of having attained the minimum age of seventeen
